| Description |
Provides behavioral management services, alternative school, outpatient therapy, and treatment foster care. The Residential Treatment Center(RTC) offers a 13 bed home for teenage girls age 12 to 18 who are emotionally and behaviorally challenged. The Alternative School is for students in the Taos Municipal School District and RTC who have troubles in the traditional classoom. Outpatient mental health services provide individual, group, and family counseling, assessements, and consultations for children, adolescents and their families on a 24 hour basis. The Treatment Foster Care (TFC)provides a safe environment for children and teens with serious behavioral problems. The families with TFC must be liscensed and work continuously with Casa de Corazon to succeed in helping the children deal with their trauma and adjust to a family. Behavioral Management Service provides one-on-one support to youth in Taos County to support them with difficulties in their home, community, or school. |
